Hello, my name is Brian Goins
and I love Bar-B-Q. It started about 30 years
ago when as a young man; I would stop at
different Bar- B-Q shops and enjoy the flavor of
various sauces.
After starting a church in
Los Angeles at the age of 28, I somehow got the
idea that a preacher should be able to do two
things real good, preach and barbeque. Well, I
immediately started to perfect myself in both.
After relocating my church to Riverside, CA and
working at both my goals, preaching and
barbequing, the Lord blessed me in both.
Years ago I found out that
there was this one ingredient that brought out
the flavor and always made a great tasting
sauce. So I start building my sauce around this
one key ingredient and developed a flavor that
is both loved by kids and adults. Of course my
wife, Ruthie was my number one taster. She is
from Texas and compared my sauce with her dad’s
sauce. As I continued to develop the flavor,
she finally agreed that Chaplain’s sauce was
better than her daddy’s. Chaplain’s Gourmet
Barbeque sauce is an experience that will make
you famous with both friends and family.
The name Chaplains Real
Bar-B-Q comes from the fact that I am a Chaplain
with the Riverside County Sheriff Department.
I’ve fed everybody from the Sheriff to the
Dispatcher, from Deputies to S.W.A.T., from
church members to family, from neighbors to out
of town visitors, and they would always ask me
when are you going to barbeque again? So, I
decided to open a shop and call it Chaplain’s in
honor of this great sheriff department and the
men and women I pastor.
My sauce and seasoning
is made from the finest ingredients. I take
pride in gourmet food. The end results, friends
and family will take notice that you have
selected the best. We are confident that
